A note on our latest team member - Tom Quayle

Tom_BigStarting the first week of January, Tom Quayle has been drafted in to the Chemistry line-up for 2010. Tom brings with him strong academic credentials, an eye for detail, as well as continental experience. He studied History with French at Birmingham University 2005-2009, which included a year abroad in the French North East town of Nancy. Up until a timely intervention from Colin last November, Tom was due to undertake an internship in Beijing in February, but has since withdrawn his place to begin his career at Chemistry.

Tom gets a kick out of his sport. Football, Tennis and Skiing rank high on his "Things To Do Outside Of Work" list (not sure if he has one of these yet). He's also a keen cyclist, and is planning on tackling the Bordeaux-Barcelona route later on this year. A more gruelling challenge in the short term could prove to be his daily trek into work, which involves prolonged intervals of cycling outdoors, sometimes even in the arctic blizzards now assailing the English coast.

Tom has joined the Chemistry at entry level as an Analyst. In this role he will help to deliver the growing amount of work that we are currently attracting, and will be involved in both the executive search and consulting aspects of the business. He is looking forward to beginning this challenging new phase of his career, and to helping Chemistry build upon the record success levels the company attained last year.
