The topic for this Master Class was Accuracy in Recruitment. It showed the participants a number ofpractical tips and real world options around best practice. The event also looked at various case studies involving Chemistry’s own Consulting work.
The full house Master Classwas attended by participants from Chemistry’s existing and prospective clients. Represented businesses included Cable & Wireless, F5, Azzurri, Merlin Entertainment as well as Broadway Malyan.
Isabelle Hung, Head of National Resourcing at Yell Group also delivered a presentation on Chemistry’s impact within her company.
Participants said theyfound the Master Class very useful, the case studies and floor discussions both proving to be a favourite of most.
Chemistry CEO Roger Philby said that the cost ofinaccurate recruitment is too steep to be shrugged off. The successes that Chemistry has achieved in this respect, together with the feedback from this Master Classillustrates that businesses are keen on getting recruitment right first time.
“Recruitment should not beabout finding occupants for vacancies, but about finding the right person for the right job. Experience alone does not achieve this, as our results show.”
“Our clients come back tous because they know that our approach also looks at how a candidate would fit into their business,” he continued.
Chemistry is holding another Master Class in October. This will centre around the same topic of Accuracy in Recruitment, while the company is preparing another event forNovember. The theme for this event will be Reducing Costs in Recruitment. Further information can be obtained by email on simonc@chemistryconsulting.biz, or by telephone on 01344 418 316.
